Pixie cuts.

It's been a while since I've had pretty short hair. I like the look of it: it's so cute and petite. Once upon a time, I thought only long hair would suit me.

I'm thinking about getting a pixie cut. A stylish one, not just cropping short. It's just so hard to find the exact look using Google images and whatnot. It usually just pops up celebrities, and it's either too short or too long. I want the kind of pixie cut that is lengthy, clings to the face, curls a little, you name it. Short and stylish!

Does anyone out there have good photos of themselves or otherwise of great pixie cuts not similar to those of Rhianna, Katie Holmes, Posh Spice, or Sienna Miller? I'd really appreciate it!

Tomorrow I announce the winner of my giveaway, I am so excited! :)

I loved Wynona Ryder's cute pixie cut

Those cuts are adorable but I think what's even harder than finding a good picture finding a hairdresser you really trust to give you the cut you want.

Very cute, indeed! Unfortunately, my hubby would be incredibly upset with me if I came home with pixie cut! Sigh, but it's so darn cute!

Janet: Yeah, it's cute, not sure if it's what I'm looking for.

Sassy: No kidding! Last time I got a short haircut, it was short.. BOY short. I warmed up to it ultimately since everyone else liked it, but at first I could've cried.

Esque: Oh, pish posh if your hubby would be upset. Why do men pretend they don't notice/care about our hair, then suddenly it's, "Why'd you do that!?" Lol.

Contrary to popular belief not all guys worship long hair. My preference is actually for a lady who mixes it up occasionally without caring about remorse what others think. The best resource for on-line images that I've found is www.ukhairdressers.com you can sort by length and the cuts are up to date unlike most of the other trash you find on Google.

Holy haircuts you read my mind! I have been toying with the idea of a pixie cut for several months now, but I have a lot of natural curl so it's definitely a challenge to find a style that will suit my hair type. I have searched flickr, google images, photobucket... you name it! I would seek the advice of a professional, but it's so difficult to find a good stylist in Upper East Tennessee that doesn't want to tease, spray or give you a mullet. *sigh*

Good luck and keep us posted! :)

Ok so I had a good picture, but forgot to bring it. With the hairdresser I found a compromise picture so it's basically a transition cut: like Kate Gosselin's hair without the spike in the back, and no blonde.

Next time I get it cut, I'm getting it PIXIE short! :)
